Financial Transparency
The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is committed to open, accountable, and transparent governance. Each year, the consolidated financial statements report the Municipality’s assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses and are made publicly available in accordance with the Municipal Act.
Financial Statements
The Annual Consolidated Financial Statements of the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, including its boards and agencies, are provided below. These statements are audited by an independent external auditor, and the auditor’s opinion is included with the financial statements.
Financial Information Return (FIR)
The Financial Information Return (FIR) is the primary tool used by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs to collect financial and statistical information from municipalities. The FIR consists of a series of schedules that are updated annually to meet current legislative and reporting requirements.
