MEDIA RELEASE: Voter Information Letters Mailed for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Election
Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula, Ontario – October 5, 2026 – Voter Information Letters have been mailed to eligible electors for the 2026 Municipal and School Board Elections.
Watch your mail over the coming days and keep your Voter Information Letter in a safe place.
Your Voter Information Letter includes:
- Voting instructions;
- A unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) required to access the voting system; and
- Information about voting assistance.
You will need your Voter Information Letter and PIN to vote.
Voting opens on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. and closes on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. Electors may vote from anywhere online or by telephone at any time during the voting period.
Need Assistance?
The Voter Help Centre, located at 56 Lindsay Road 5, Lion’s Head, ON N0H 1W0, can assist with:
- Updating voter information;
- Accessing the voting system;
- Using internet or telephone voting; and
- General election questions.
Computers will be available for electors who wish to vote online.
Haven't Received Your Voter Information Letter?
Eligible voters who have not received their Voter Information Letter by October 7, 2026 should contact the Clerk's Department as soon as possible.

If you are not on the voters' list, you may be added by visiting the Municipal Office in person. You will be required to complete an Application to Amend the Voters' List (Form EL15) and provide identification showing your name and qualifying address.
