The Municipality develops plans and strategies to guide long-term decision-making, manage resources responsibly, and support Council’s priorities. These documents help staff and Council plan, implement, and report on key municipal initiatives.
Strategic Plans
Strategic plans set out the long-term vision, goals, and priorities that Council and staff will focus on over a defined period. They guide decision-making, resource allocation, and initiatives to improve community services, infrastructure, and quality of life. These plans help residents understand where the Municipality is headed and how progress will be measured.
Supporting Plans & Studies
Other Master Plans and Strategies provide detailed, long-term direction for specific municipal priorities such as housing, climate action, energy use, and parks and recreation. These plans build on Council’s strategic priorities and guide future programs, investments, and policy decisions. Together, they help the Municipality plan proactively and respond to emerging community needs.
