Volunteer Recognition

The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula's Annual Volunteer Recognition Day is a time to recognize the voluntary achievements and contributions made in the community. Individuals and Organizations can recognize a member, executive, team, team player, coach, parent, group, or supporter who deserves an expression of your appreciation. 

An Annual Volunteer Recognition Day is held in April, where each group is allowed a few minutes at the ceremony to make the presentation to the selected recipient(s). The Municipality presents a certificate to each recipient, however, organizations/groups are welcome to purchase gifts (plaque, flowers, etc.) which may be presented on behalf of your organization. Presentations will be followed by a social gathering and light refreshments.

To nominate a volunteer, individuals/organizations are invited to submit a form including information about the volunteer's achievement, type of involvement and level of impact on the community. Nominations Forms will be posted in the Spring.
