Fire Danger Rating - Effective August 7, 2025

Effective August 7, 2025 the Fire Danger Rating for the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is currently high. No open air burning is allowed without a permit. All fires must have adequate tools and resources to extinguish the fire and must be supervised at all times. 

Although the risk level is high, we encourage everyone to burn safely. If you have any questions about safe open-air burning, please contact Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire & Emergency Services.
