Fire Danger Rating - Effective August 7, 2025

Effective August 7, 2025 the Fire Danger Rating for the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is currently high. No open air burning is allowed without a permit. All fires must have adequate tools and resources to extinguish the fire and must be supervised at all times. 

Although the risk level is high, we encourage everyone to burn safely. If you have any questions about safe open-air burning, please contact Northern Bruce Peninsula Fire & Emergency Services.

Located at the end of Big Tub Road, onstreet parking as well as the parking lot will require online reservations between July 8 and September 15 Reservations are available in one 1 hour time blocks for 5, with a 3 hour maximum. Some areas have limited cellular service, we recommend making reservations ahead of your visit, and downloading the ParkedIn app to expedite the parking process.
