Notice of Temporary Road Closure - Lion's Head Canada Day Parade

Join us on Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. for the Lion's Head Canada Day Parade! 

The parade route will require that Bruce County Road 29 be closed from Moore Street to Scott Street. The parade will start at Bruce Peninsula District School on Moore Street, travel east to Joseph Street, north on Joseph and continue west on Mill Street to Helen Street, travel north on Helen to Scott Street, west on Scott to Bruce County Road 29 and then south on Bruce County Road 29 to Moore Street, completing the circuit back at the school.

Barricades and signs will be provided by the Municipal Public Works Department. Parade organizers along with municipal staff will co-ordinate and implement the placement and organization of the signs and barricades, including providing directional assistance at the open intersections as mentioned above.
