2025 Weed Spray Control Program

To help keep our roadways safe and accessible for both drivers and pedestrians, the Municipality will be beginning our annual Roadside Vegetation Management Program. This includes routine roadside mowing and targeted weed control to manage invasive and noxious plant species.

Vegetation management, including mowing and weed spraying, will take place from May 15 to October 3, 2025, along select municipal roads.

All activities are carried out in accordance with the Weed Control Act, R.S.O. 1990 and follow regulated best practices to ensure public and environmental safety.

Please remember to slow down and use caution around roadside crews. Your patience helps protect the workers who are keeping our roads safe.
