Military Exercise – Venture Trillium

From May 3rd to 5th a small contingent of Canadian Armed Forces members will be in Northern Bruce Peninsula as part of Exercise Trillium Venture. Troops will be staying at the arena in Lions Head and will be performing search and rescue training on the waters around Dyer’s Bay and land-based search and rescue in the area of the Cabot Head Lighthouse.

Other than noticing military vehicles in Lions Head and the Dyers Bay area, the military will have no to very minimal interaction with members of the public. The military will not be knocking on doors in the Dyers Bay area as part of this exercise.
