The Lion's Head Beach Park Campground is operational from May 15, 2023 - October 15, 2023.

Booking a transient site

Please note, all transient tent sites are unserviced. Transient site numbers 1 and 2 have no servicing. Transient sites 3 and 4 have 2-part hookups including water and hydro. All other transient sites have 3-part hookups including hydro, water and sewer. Serviced sites are $50.00 including HST and unserviced sites are $40.00 including HST per night. Prices are subject to change without notice. These rates include a maximum of two adults per site or one family (maximum 2 adults and children under 18 to a maximum of 6 people per family). No additional adults are permitted per site. Dumping fees are included in the daily rental. Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. and check out is 12:00 noon sharp. Cancellation Policy

Full payment for a site(s) is due at the time of reservation. Refunds will be given for cancellations received at least 10 days prior to check-in date minus a $10.00 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after the 10 day period.

Getting a seasonal site

There is a waiting list for seasonal sites at the Lion's Head Beach Park Campground. To be placed on the waiting list, please complete the Waiting List Application Form. Please review the Waiting List Policy prior to completing your Waiting List Application. We are not accepting any permanent seasonal trailers over 32' in overall length. This length must include the tongue of the trailer, spare tire and ladder. Please review the policies and procedures applicable to all seasonal site holders.

Surrounding areas and events

The Lion's Head Beach Park Campground is conveniently located in Lion's Head with a sand beach, playground, pavilion, grocery store, hardware store, bank and several food establishments within walking distance. There is also a viewing platform, lighthouse and memorial gardens.
