Arts and Culture
The natural beauty and rich culture of the Bruce Peninsula has attracted numerous artists and artisans. From painters to photographers, potters to storytellers, the Bruce Peninsula is host to a vibrant and active arts community. Come and enjoy the annual Art Show in Lion's Head on Civic Holiday weekend, the Artist Co-Op Gallery in Ferndale, St. Margaret's Church in Cape Chin and Big Tub Lighthouse.

NBP is a rich art community. The Bruce Peninsula Society of Artists boasts some 80 members whose aim is to develop a broader dynamic profile of art on the Bruce Peninsula. |

Museum |
The St. Edmunds and Peninsula Museum, located at 7072 Highway 6, Tobermory, provides visitors with a deeper understanding of life experienced by early settler families in the northern Bruce Peninsula. Tour a 19th century brick school house and visit the log cabin built in 1875 by Jacob Belrose where he and Agnes raised their eight children. Admission by donation and parking is free.
Open July and August from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on weekends only from Victoria Day weekend, most of June and from Labour Day until Thanksgiving. |
