2022 Budget Timetable

The following is a preliminary timetable for preparation of the 2022 Budget:

• Nov 2021 - Jan 2022: Request for public input and comments or requests for changes in service levels – Notice Board Tobermory Press and Municipal website
• October 29, 2021: Deadline for submitting Municipal Funding Applications
• November 15, 2021: 9:00 a.m. - Meeting for Municipal Funding Application presentations
• January 10, 2022: 9:00 a.m. – Review 1^st Draft of Budget (Council in afternoon) Parks and Recreation, Facilities, Community Development, Spruce the Bruce, Roads, 911 Addressing, Street lights, Water, Sewer, Waste Management, Agriculture (Municipal Drains, etc.)
• January 24, 2022: 9:00 a.m. – Review 1^st Draft of Budget (Council in afternoon) General Revenue, Council, Administration, GIS/IT, Short-Term Accommodation, Occupational Health and Safety, Emergency Planning, Building, By-law Enforcement, Fire, Policing, Cemeteries, Accessibility
• February 14, 2022: 9:00 a.m. – Review 2^nd Draft – Revisions to Draft #1 (Council in afternoon)
• February 28, 2022: 1:00 p.m. – Public Presentation (Adopt Budget)
