Council appoints members to ad hoc advisory committees utilizing By-law 2022-69, Committee Appointment Policy. When this occurs, we will publish, by public notice, an advertisement in the local newspaper and on this website seeking willing and suitable candidates.
Committees appointed for the 2022-2026, term of Council were the following ad hoc advisory committees: Cemetery, Chi-Cheemaun, Museum, Physician Recruitment and Retention, Property Standards and Climate Action -Waste Diversion.
The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.

The Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula is seeking community minded individuals to serve on various ad hoc committees. The duration of these volunteer appointments is the 2022-2026 Term of Office unless specified otherwise in the Committee’s Terms of Reference.
Cemetery Committee [four (4) vacancies]
Chi Cheemaun Festival Committee [seven (7) vacancies]
Ad Hoc Museum Committee [eight (8) vacancies]
Physician Recruitment and Retention Committee [two (2) vacancies]
Property Standards Committee [three (3) vacancies]
Climate Action-Waste Diversion Committee [4-6 vacancies]
Committee Terms of Reference are available from the Clerk, upon request. Please go to www.northbrucepeninsula.ca under Committees to complete the fillable application form. Any Committee related questions may be directed to the Clerk.
Interested individuals are requested to complete and submit the Committee Application form to the Clerk at clerk@northernbruce.cano later than Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at 12:00 Noon.

The Municipality is also accepting applications for two (2) positions as Municipal Investigators (Livestock Valuers), three (3) positions as Fence Viewers, and one (1) citizen representative for the Multi-Municipal Wind Turbine Action Group.
