Utilities
The Municipality provides municipal water to the village of Lion's Head and sewer service to the town of Tobermory and the Lakewood Country Lane Subdivision.
The Municipality contracts the operation and maintenance of its water and wastewater systems to the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA).

Invoicing and fee structure |
Residential properties are charged a base rate of $556.92 per meter per year, the billing of which is divided and invoiced quarterly. Quarterly invoices will also include the amount of metered water used during that quarter, at a rate of $2.39 per cubic meter. Water invoicing due dates are April 30, July 31, October 31 and January 31. |
Water service connections and water meter installations |
If you would like to connect your property to the Lion's Head Water System, please complete the Water Service Connection Application and submit it with the $3,000.00 fee to the Municipal Office.
Water meters are issued by the Ontario Clean Water Agency once paid for at the Municipal Office. Water meters and their associated parts are $600.00 plus HST. As the landowner, you are responsible for contracting a licensed plumber to perform the water meter installation. |

Sewer
Invoicing and fee structure |
TobermoryResidential properties will be charged $570.77 annually, the billing of which is divided and billed bi-annually. Retail stores, tourist accommodations, laundromats, restaurants and licensed establishments will be invoiced according to the Fees and Charges By-law. Lakewood Country Lane SubdivisionResidential properties will be charged $637.00, the billing of which is divided and billed bi-annually. Sewer invoicing due dates are July 31 and October 31. |

Locate requests
The Municipality is a member of Ontario One Call (ON1Call) and all requests to find and mark municipal utilities is processed through them.
ON1Call is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A locate is always required before digging, even in an emergency.
Water and sewer certificates
Water and sewer certificates are available by written request. There is a $30.00 fee per property. If required in less than 38 hours, the fee is $60.00.

The Municipality is serviced by other utility companies for electricity, phone and internet.
