Public Meeting for Fees and Charges By-Law – November 28, 2022

The Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Northern Bruce Peninsula will hold a Public Meeting (via Zoom) and in person with respect to amendments and additions to the Fees and Charges By-law on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at the Municipal Office: 56 Lindsay Road 5, Lion’s Head, Ontario.

2023 Draft Fees and Charges By-law 

Written comments shall be received by the Clerk no later than Friday, November 25, 2022, at 12 Noon. 

Remembrance Day 2022

Remembrance Day is a day for all Canadians to remember the men and women who served and sacrificed for our country. It is a day we encourage every individual, young and old, to pause, to give thanks and to remember.

Landfill Hours of Operation - Winter Hours

Please note landfill hours change on November 1 to winter hours!

November 1 to March 31:

  • Eastnor Site – 1252 West Road:  Monday – 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Lindsay Site – 627 Ira Lake Road:  Saturday – 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • St. Edmunds – 71 McArthur Road:  Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Residents are encouraged to pay by debit/credit or account.

Lion's Head Sidewalk Construction

The Municipality is undertaking the construction of sidewalks in the Village of Lion's Head.

During the month of October, Royal Crown Construction will be constructing sidewalks on the east side of County Road 29 (Main Street) from the intersection of County Road 9/Ferndale Road to Hayes Drive, as well as on the south side of Moore Street from Bruce Peninsula District School to the Lion's Head Hospital.
