Grey Bruce Public Health News Release- July 15, 2021 Delta Variant Concern - Roadmap for Modified Step 3 in Grey Bruce

Based on our trust that the public will comply, Grey Bruce is moving to a modified Step 3, with strong recommendations instead of regulatory orders to contain the spread of COVID-19.While the Step 3 provincial reopening would relax restriction on the numbers that can gather, the Grey Bruce Health Unit strongly recommends current limits on private gatherings remain locally. Roadside Grass Cutting

Municipal roadside grass cutting is part of the Municipality’s maintenance program. Roadside cutting is conducted within the municipal road allowance and is undertaken to enhance the appearance of the roadway, control weeds, improve sight lines for drivers, wildlife safety, pedestrian wellbeing and assists with controlling ticks.  In addition, there are various factors to consider for roadside grass cutting, for example:

• increase visibility along shoulders of road
