The Clerk fulfills the statutory requirements in accordance with legislation and Council policy and acts as primary point of reference for Council on matters of procedure and legislative jurisdiction. The Clerk prepares effective legislation in order to accomplish Council and community objectives and administers certain Planning Act processes.

PLEASE NOTE: Anyone wishing to view and/or provide written comments on any by-law (or agenda document) or submit Correspondence for the Council Agenda, he/she shall provide same to the Municipal Clerk at the Municipal Office located at 56 Lindsay Road 5, R. R. #2, Lion's Head, Ontario, N0H 1W0 no later than 12 Noon on the Wednesday preceding the Council Meeting.
Anyone wishing to discuss any by-law (or agenda document) may do so by contacting the Municipal Clerk at (519) 793-3522, X229 at any time prior to 12 Noon on the Friday preceding the Council Meeting.
Individuals who submit letters and other information to Council and its Committees should be aware that any personal information contained within their communications may become part of the public record and may be made available through the agenda process which includes publication on the Municipality's website.
CLOSED SESSION INVESTIGATION COMPLAINT
Members of the public may submit complaints relating compliance with the Act or the Municipality's Procedure By-law for meetings or part of meetings that are closed to the public. All complaints shall be submitted to the Ombudsman's Office.
